bright girls can jump

I don't know about in your part of the world, but in London at the moment, the only rules style wise seem to be that there are no rules. Absolutely anything goes. (OKay: one rule: no denim shorts over black leggings with ballet shoes: that screams spring 2009, 2010 at a push).

Saw these girls while out with Mr. Dot, at the V&A. JK (left) works with a great group called White Kat. Yashka.. still can't quite work it out. But when I find out, I'll let you know. All I know is, these girls are a delight. And they can jump.

They look fun! Anything goes here in Brighton, but that's always been the case!

Alexis: funny you should say that: I happened to take my first street shots in Brighton! We were there for the day and it was a cold day (in January) and what I noticed was that people in Brighton were wearing really bright colours. Hot pink, lemon yellow, orange orange.. I actually wondered if that's why they call it Brighton.

Anonymous: okay now you're scaring me. In a good way. We were at the stained glass bit on the 3rd floor, too! WHO ARE YOU?? Are you like my fashion fairy godmother? Hope you're not a stalker.

Such fun photos. I'm always amazed at the way you get your subjects to do all sorts of things for a shot. It must be that charm Jill...

I love how in the first shots they look so serious, and a bit reserved, and then you flip the switch, and they are happy, and jumping.
