venka: variations

One of the many lovely things about fashion week is you become friends with people and then watch, over a period of days, them do variations on a theme. They might wear the same boots, coat.. in this case, Venka, who I've posted about before, wore the same fur gilet with a different look. Note the Christopher Kane-esque black check shirt.

She has an amazing face! And I think this outfit is amazing- I lovethe contrast between textures and patterns. I especially like the gilet over the checkered shirt. One of those looks that you wouldn't think would work until you saw it!
I've been wearing a lot of long skirts recently, so I appreciated seeing this.
Thank you for the comment. And this is SO strange, because the two stories you mentioned by JD Salinger were my two favourites too! Both extraordinary tales... When you read his work, it feels like you are just experiencing some snatched moment or looking at a picture.
And I'm looking forward to the Jaeger idea! The cpae isn't Jaeger, but I can see why you thought it might be.

Hi Jill.
Is it me or does this lady look like Olivia Wilde who plays Dr. Remy 'Thirteen' Hadley on Fox medical drama House.
Great outfit too.

Haha, I've realised that I've been wearing my Sonia Rykiel waistcoat quite a lot these days - it's still too cold! I love how she's changed up her look.
