Nicole, uncannily channelling a Chelsea bird circa 1969. On Camden High Street, circa 2009.

If I can only wear those knee-high socks... major envy here.

Aha Mr.Dot sounds like an interesting fellow to be fair! Well hopefully [fingers crossed] i'll be moving down to London next September, so maybe then i can chat with mr.dot about the teddy boys style!

I can't believe it, but they aren't sold out yet. I don't know why people just aren't feeling this shoes - http://www.asos.com/Asos-Collection/Asos-1-Of-100-Brothel-Creeper-Shoes/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=685297&SearchQuery=brothel&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=OffWhite

I did do a little piece on snoods when i first started; i think snoods on men, yes! But i really don't think men should pull the back up and use it as a hood too, unless they're really really really confident.

&& i really like what she's wearing; but i think these typical brown vintage shoes are getting too typical now!

Jord. (will leave this on your blog as well)I don't know why people aren't feeling these shoes, either. I even sent the link to Mr. Dot & he's not feeling them (altho he was obsessed with getting a pair of Chelsea boots for a while, which I don't feel AT ALL: go figure. I asked him what's the differrence and he said 'I can't explain it to you.' Direct quote!)

I agree on both count re: snoods on men. Yes to snoods, no to using it as hood unless they're really really confident, so unbearably attractive they can get away with anything, or really really cold & no one else is around to see (like in a snowy forest, for example).

typical brown vintage shoes: yeah, perhaps too typical, but I still love them in principal. There's something about this particular pair that's not quite right.

Thank you all for your comments and some of you I don't know your blogs yet, so will be visiting them within the next 24 hours! Please do stop by again.

I hope she gets in touch: I'm curious who made the bag. I like the vertical lines with the horizontal lines of her coat. Two different tan tones.

Ohmigosh I love her! I love her! I love her! Doesn't she remind you a bit of Daisy Lowe? Tres adorable! :)

Yes, I was thinking the same thing! (Actually, I wonder in hindsight, maybe it IS? I thought her name was Nicole, but I didn't write it down). She also looks a bit like Chrissie Hinde @ that age, but I think more like Daisy.

And Ms. Spy: very funny, but actually it's a skirt. It looks like it might be some kind of belted blue velvet.
